On November 21st 2022, our esteemed collection of hoteliers came together in the breathtaking grandeur of the Grand Hotel et de Milan, Italy. This one-day networking event was an opportunity for Historic Hotels of Europe members to engage with like-minded hoteliers and access industry experts. Topics discussed included sustainability, talent management, guests’ evolving needs in a post-pandemic climate, and fine dining behaviors.
Chairman Ken Healy opened the meeting and welcomed all attending hoteliers. “Amplifying the historic stories of Europe finest hotels and embracing a sustainable future is central to our mission. Focused on expanding our members’ reach to a truly global audience, we believe promoting our unique collection through imaginative marketing and innovative digital tools. The launch of our new digital platform marks the beginning of an exciting future for the Historic Hotels of Europe.”
Claudia Buscher, Executive Director presented the new and improved HistoricHotelsofEurope.com site. It represents a new era for the collection, offering immediate access to a global market. Interactive, inspirational and customer-focused, the site is full-service – offering travellers the chance to explore a destination’s local stories, heritage and culture, along with the option to book a historic stay directly.
The Denmark-based international organisation Green Key and their Italian Representative took part in this year’s event Hoteliers’ Meeting, celebrating a two-year partnership with Historic Hotels of Europe.
Completing the day was an exquisite gala dinner hosted by the Grand Hotel et de Milan in Milan.
